Conservation films

Natalie has worked as a conservation filmmaker globally for a while now, covering re-wilding and animal moves across Africa. At home in the UK she covers local rescue's, surveying and general conservation stories. Working with Dan Read, filming coverage of fast paced releases or across difficult terrain, two cameras is always better than one to ensure coverage and build incredible stories.

Gorilla rewilding in the Congo

Silverback, Joshi, is one of over 80 western lowland gorilla to be re-wilded by the Aspinall Foundation. This was one of many species re-wilding projects that Natalie has covered. Covering the entire transportation and release of Joshi into the jungle basin of the Congo.

Gull ringing on Flat Holm

Broadcast on BBC 1, Natalie covered gull ringing and more on Flat Holm island. Armed with a hard hat, gimbal and the ability to move quickly, it was possible to cover the entire experience with interviews from contributors and volunteers as well as the action taking place. That day involved a lot of sea gull poop!
